The Lowe Down: The arts beat COVID in 2021

It might be hard to remember, with omicron currently surging, but the performing arts made great inroads against COVID last year. During the spring, nearly every performance was virtual. In the summer, theater went outdoors but chamber music came inside. In the fall, the Vermont Symphony Orchestra returned indoors at The Flynn — certainly a mark of success.
